I miss the excitement of a new Carmack game, you knew you were going to get something special and always with cutting edge elements. But he was never a story guy. Firmly a gameplay experience man. This is one of the last if not the last Carmack shooter ever and I cherish it for that. What a tragic loss to us all and a terrible waste of his genius his move to Occulus was.

Sick, am definitely gonna do this! Tried to attempt your dark souls 2 strat, but gave up on that game after not even two hours playing. Maybe it’s better on consoles, but they absolutely dropped the ball with the controls on Steam. It’s nearly unplayable, even after I manually altered the controls through the Steam controller thing lol. Switched to DS3, felt perfect right off the bat, just like DS1.

Looking forward to trying it out!

I love cRPG like Dragon Age, Knights of The Old Republic, Mass Effect, Pillars of Eternity as well as RTS but I hate micro managing a lot of units, uuugh is tedious and chore-some. Thanks for the video review.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon as far as I can tell is Not a game. I tried it through a friend, got all the way to chapter three. Every chapter was about 3hrs of cutscenese with maybe 10 minutes of gameplay. I don't have the patience for 11 cutscenes between 5 minutes of gameplay, that's why I don't play kingdom hearts more.

Thief ring does not aggro from much further. It's the opposite. And I think "Don't Prioritise magic for int" should also be the opposite Just some things i noticed. No hate. Guide actually helped a lot.

You can get Dane's footwork which focuses on kicking but has the same stats as Dryleaf then put that as frost but it's a really good main option then dryleaf as offhand And you can get both without going to NG+ You just get Dane's Footwork later on

How do i get my map to look like yours

Its nerfed now his poison goes away after a while but he doesn't die instantly anymore. The poison stack does 3/4 off his health after running letting it go away and then having him run through it 3 times I think if you do it right maybe you can kill him poison but it will take a very long time

I just attempted to play this on my Vita and I'm sorry, but this game is not for me, it sucks- I expected controls and gameplay similar to dead nation, but the aim is nowhere near as good ! To top it off, the forest tutorial at the beginning, screwed me and it would not let me get on the ship at the end and the ship left without me , thus I would have to do the whole damn thing again!!! Constantly out of ammo and having to reload this game is garbage

(to the tune of Hungry Hungry Hipps) ninja jaja-ma-RU, ninja jaja-ma-RU I like how for the title, instead of saying "+ Hell Mode" it opts to simply say "+ Hell." They're just throwing in access to the infamous underworld of the afterlife as a bonus with this game, very neat of them.

I just start the game and I follow every tip you show in the video. I am not very into souls games, I dont understand shouls Blades be always on the hand( or just on the slot as pasive) are their buffs active when on hand :)

I fight black knight ASAP till I get either the sword or spear. Once I get either of those, I prioritize leveling up strength and dexterity till I can use them. I do, say gg. If I don’t get either I go Zweihander because it breaks the poise of most enemies and bosses. It terms of armor, I go for the silliest armor, because I don’t care for armor, but if I did care, I go to the forest to get the elite knight armor. Rings, I get Havel’s ring (only if I have on elite knight armor) (back stab for easy win) and kill Laurtic (golden knight) for his ring (BTW you can kill him way easier by kicking him off the ledge behind where he’s sitting instead of fighting. If you lose to him, he kills the firekeeper and are then required to complete his quest. Save the trouble of losing your bonfire) Overall, I think this is solid build for a beginner. Best piece of advice is don’t give up. You will not regret the experience that is Dark Souls1!

Great beginner for the RTS genre, If your looking to get a bit more complex, you can eventually move up and up until you reach around the stronghold era of RTS games.

Thanks a lot. Out of all 3 Dark Souls games. This is the only one I know little to none about and the only one I have not beaten. I’ve even gotten all the trophies/achievements TWICE for Dark Souls 1, but yet I struggle beating this one.

It’s along path but it’s worth it got it done in literally an hour now I’m OP as shit thank you

Personally, I enjoyed Lords of the Fallen way more than Lies of P!. I loved them both, but the lore/aesthetic/world building feels a lot more soulsy here in my opinion.
